The Captains Cabin,is in La Griere which is just 3 kms to La Tranche Sur Mer and is just a short walk to a long sandy beach and to all usual amenities.

The Vendee is now being discovered by more and more people as its reputation as a wonderful holiday location gets around.This area is so easily accessed air,road and rail.It has a superb road system and with its wonderful climate has much to offer to fill its 2,200 hours of sunshine a year.This is an area that has much to attract visitors outside of the high season as well.

The Captains Cabin is only 600m from La Griere Plage ,a few minutes walk -close enough to pop back for your beach picnic!

The Captains' Cabin is a holiday home with mezzanine bedroom on a private residence of only 23 homes with a designated parking place.Modern ,stylish holiday living accommodation with lots of extras perfect for a couple but also spacious enough for a young family and we are sure you will agree great value for money.

Ground Floor.

The living area is an open plan arrangement ,compact but spacious and harmoniously decorated and furnished in fresh white and shades of blue .

Kitchen Area

Fully fitted kitchen with work top space and ample cupboards and equipped with :

Accessed by a gated staircase from the living area, the bedroom has a low ceiling but is great fun for the children to sleep in .The sleeping area offers;

* Bedside tables and reading lamps.
* Hanging and shelf space for clothes.
* Childs cot.

Depending on numbers and preference visitors have the choice to sleep on the sofa bed downstairs or on the single beds upstairs ( single beds can be put together to make a double )The top of the staircase is gated for children's safety.

Terrace Garden.

The terrace garden is planted and decorated with tumbling, colourful hanging baskets and is accessed via patio doors from the living area ,is private and well equipped for your outside living with ;

Parking is in a designated space and is within the grounds of the residence.

Notes

Electric central heating is provided throughout for those early season visitors when the evenings may be cool.

Duvets and pillows are provided by the owners along with kitchen tea towels and hand towels. Guests supply their own bed linen and personal towels although linen hire can be arranged where requested .(All beds are protected by waterproof mattress covers for hygiene purposes).

The Captains Cabin welcomes smokers but for the comfort of all our guests,the apartment is strictly a no smoking area.There are ashtrays provided on the terrace outdoors.

The holiday home will be stocked with a basic starter pack of tea,coffee ,milk and condiments plus some bathroom supplies.When your time of arrival is not within shop opening hours or space limited in the car a more comprehensive arrival pack can be purchased on your behalf if you let us know within good time .

In addition arrangements can also be made in advance on your behalf for certain entertainments and activities which get booked up very quickly ,for example watersport courses ,again let us know your needs well in advance.
